"Hidden", a small village in the middle of nowhere.

I started off with a line drawing in Photoshop 7.
This my first matte, which worked without the use of any photo references. I tried to imagine a
Lord-of-the-rings styled landscape with an asian touch of architecture.
The original is in a 4k-resolution.

Very beautiful, great detail on the trees and the waterfalls.
Theres realy nothing bad about this piece, you have a well balanced
color scheme. The subject is interesting and mysterious.
A good piece all together.

Wow that is incredible. So much detail; the fog, the tiles on the roof, the little creek running by the house.

that is so pretty. the whole scene and angle is just perfect. this is the sort of stuff i wish to see every time i browse devart! great job.

oooo - and if ur willing to let me know how, what technique did u use in photoshop to get the trees to look that well crafted?

This is really lovely, i can't think of any critique to give... It has a great sense of depth. I was wondering what you mean when you say matte painting (i noticed that on some of your other pieces).
